Rewrite's End

Without further ado, here's Chapter VIII - Feathers. That's it. That's the end of the rewrite.
When I started it up last December, the trilogy's plot was in shambles in my head - there were threads that were missing, there were pages of excess exposition that I was shoehorning in because I hadn't known ahead of time to have a character make a particular off-handed comment back in Chapter Whatever of Book One. The rewrite, in short, was desperately needed.
What came out the other end of the process is something that I believe is a much better story: focused and flowing, it leads its characters more certainly along their paths.
Those paths, of course, aren't over: point of fact, they're just beginning. Fang lays out a few mysteries at the end of this chapter, and they're just a few of the ones that I'll be delving into over the next two chapters - the last two of Part One - and over the next two parts of The Emerald Queen. And where things go from there... well, I could tell you, but that would ruin the fun of it.
I want to thank everybody who stuck with me and my story through this process, and I hope you've been rewarded. For everyone that wandered off (understandably) during the process, I hope that you take the time to read the new and improved Book One - The Frozen Tomb... I promise, it'll be worth it.
And now: on to further writings! Coming soon, Chapter IX - Into the Scarlet Monastery, and then soon after that, Part Two - The Crown of the Heavens.
