Edit Alert: Grimble's Speech

There are unique challenges to doing this thing I'm doing, with the publishing a thing as I write it. The main one is that if I want to change something, instead of scrolling up a few tens of pages and changing it, I have to change it, copy it about, update the site and then, if it's anything more than a few words or typo-corrections, I feel the need to announce it. It's not like you guys are keeping your eyes on Chapter 25 of Book One to catch all the vibrant updates I'm making all the time.

This change was pretty minor. Grimble Bassbait, in the afore-mentioned Chapter 25 of Book One, does his creepy thing with the hacksaw, as surely you remember. I had originally envisioned that as a grand reference to the old Alterac Valley thing where you could loot a little money off an opposing player you killed, and then, just to prove you did it, you'd cut off a piece of his body and stick it in your backpack. (They took this out a few patches back.) You'd take hooves from Tauren, tufts of hair or something from gnomes, teeth from dwarves... it was pretty weird. Slaughtered that fourteen-year-old "female" night-elf rogue? Cut his head off. Why the head? It's the part of the body they use the least! *rimshot*

The thing is, when I went to make the reference in the story, I never talked about it. It was just, our hero is lying on the ground incapacitated, and suddenly some dude is trying to saw his hooves off. It's always bugged me. So, since I took the day off from work today, I thought I'd take the time to hang out, and watch some TV in my underwear, and eat some scrambled eggs, and finally update Grimble's Speech. (It's here, if you're curious. Just a few new sentences.) Now new readers and non-WoWers won't give me a funny look when they get to that part.

Jayksen, if you read this, I swear to god... I only took the day off because I was feeling really lazy.
