I'm at home at the farm, and it's great - my parents have a functional kitchen now, and there are curtains in the bathroom now and stuff. It's all coming together great.
I thought I should make a formal announcement. I've decided that the nom de plume of "Albatros" is less in line with who I am as a person - bulbous and smelly, with giant, thermal-regulating ears - than another potential totem. Pursuant to that, I'm changing my name from Albatros to "Elephant". It'll take some time to get the site changed all the way over, but I've got the biggest chunk taken care of already - my new line drawing, drawn for me earlier this week by a good friend of mine.
This is going to have some effects on the story, as well. Elephants, by their nature, don't write. They do, however, have legendary memories - and so, from now on, instead of posting new chapters of "The Murloc is Lonely", I will sit down at my computer once a week and re-type old parts of the story from memory. I hope you enjoy this new format for the story as much as I'm sure I will.
