Geography
From Lonelipedia
In The Murloc is Lonely the entire map of the World of Warcraft has been preserved, moved ahead six centuries and has been geologically altered to reflect the impact of what has happened in those six centuries.
The size of every area on Az has been enlarged. It is not normal to walk from the deepest south to the highest north of an entire continent within an hour or two, as is the case in World of Warcraft. Every pace has been enlarged to encompass a mile a pace, loosely speaking.
With a more believable mileage in place, the entire world can hold so much more content and allow for an enormous lenience when rewriting the climates and conditions of certain areas.
[edit] Continents
There are four large landmasses:
- Kalimdor, or Kali as it has been baptised under the auspices of The Bird, has its own species of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. It is home to the wise Tauren and the reclusive Night Elves. Many other (intelligent) humanoids are also native to the land, as are some invading races, such as the savage Orcs, the shrewd humans, the sturdy Dwarves, the inventive Gnomes, the pecunious Goblins etc.
- Azeroth, the Eastern Lands, is comprised of the northern kingdoms of Lordaeron and [[Quel'Thalas] and the southern kingdoms of Khaz Modan and Arathor. This continent too has its share of unique animal species. It's mainly inhabited by the Humans, the Dwarves, the Gnomes, the ruthless Trolls, the cold Forsaken and the proud High Elves. However, many other intelligent lifeforms and races stalk the lands, especially in the globalised world Az has become.
- Northrend is a frozen continent harbouring a scala of dangerous, icy and deadly creatures, some of them humanoid and others not. Mainly Polar Furbolgs, Tuskarr, Nerubians and Undead can be reckoned humanoid or sapiens. How things are in Northrend is a complete mystery due lack of information, but as always, the wind is fierce, the snow is harsh and life is unyielding.
- Sunken Kalimdor, the Maelstrom and the Broken Isles: all of these can be situated in between Azeroth and Kalimdor. Sunken Kalimdor is the landmass trapped underneath the Maelstrom from the time of the Great Sundering of the Well of Eternity. The Broken Isles are an island chain that was raised from the bottom of the ocean by Gul'dan. The Isles are supposedly moving towards the Maelstrom to be crushed at some point by the magical and physical torrents of the vortex. It is said the Naga live underneath the Maelstrom with their accursed queen Azshara in the city of Nazjatar.

[edit] Major Cities
((Far from complete :D. Needs the map of Storm City at one point... And it will also require a content box...))
