Chapter the Next is going up as we speak. I have found a new distraction: my job started finally. I got home past 8 every night last week, and found one hour over the course of the whole week to write. Luckily, I've got a bit of a buffer written up to last me a few weeks, but in the mean time I'm gonna slow posting down to probably a chapter a week.

Point of fact: the next chapter is not the last chapter of book one. put that in your pipes and smoke it! Shocked

(it's not actually as shock-worthy as that smilie makes it out to be)

Oh... That's bizarre...

The last lines of that chapter coincide with the last lines of Book One in Oldmurloc...

Are you going to add Book 2 in Book 1 Confused Surprised

I've probably said this about quite a few other lines, but this is the best line in the book.

yeah, so I honestly cant quite explain where this is coming from, but i felt that i needed to say it anyways. When i was reading the most recent rewrite chapter I was suddenly filled with pure joy and excitement for the story. I have liked this story, and the community that has built up around it for a good while, but somehow it hit home how amazing the whole thing was when i was reading this time. I don't know that I have expressly said this before, but here it goes. Thank you albatros for writing such an amazing story, and thank all the readers and forum hounds for making this place a joy to come back to, even when there isnt an update. You guys all rock.

Keltor, I think thats basically how all of us feel, we just express it in different ways, thank you for putting it in a more simple way. And I agree with you, there was something about the last chapter that just hits you. I had the same sort of reaction. If you read it the way I do, ie read the rewriten section than the original section you can see how much improvement there is. I think its amazeing to see the progresive evolution of the creative mind of Albatros, and to see the creation that is his to be proud of.

Any time anybody says something like this, it's always fun to try and get into what the mindset of the complimentee. You see the story (and yes, this chapter and the last have been some of the best) and you think that it's the least you can do to tell him how good it is, but when you think of how good it will make him feel, you yourself get a little rush of exitement.

I can only say that such a continuous rush kept me inspired to translate, back in the day when my life wasn't a four-way highway beset by traffic jam... Wink

And yes, I'm loving it Wink. (The story, that is Very Happy)

Too bad he's rewriting it all, so you'd have to retranslate it all as well Razz.

Don't stress about it, Alb. Just step back, take a breath, go off somewhere and relax. My best ideas always come to me when I'm not trying to think of anything at all.
