Honestly, I didn't think the story would end on this note. Really, what was all that uniting the world stuff supposed to be leading to?

You are a sick person, leaving us on a cliffhanger like that. Luckily, now we get to find out what happens when a Law agent dies, which we have been dieing (pardon the pun) to figure out for months. Great addition.

Sigh...........
.............................
........................................

While I accept the fact that Horse needed to die somehow in order for us to learn about this whole immortality thing...

...........
.........................

Can't the hero succeed at something just once? Is he doomed to fail in every single task and then find out later that everyone knew he would fail and indeed were counting on him to be such a spectacular infallible failure that it was all part of their grand scheme that everyone knew about but him?

Every page of this makes me more and more depressed.

Bro, Horse doesn't fail at everything, and they definately did not mean for him to fail at this.

As for the Agents of the Law never dieing, Horse just did. Believe it. Now, we hopefully get to meet another agent of the Law.

Well, Horse is going to keep on failing until he gets past this massive pride of his, whether the Law wants him to fail or not.

Based on the way the final sentence was written, I assume that Horse comes back from the dead somehow. My question is, does the law resurrect him, or does Varimathras turn him into an undead servant? The second option has many evil ironic possibilities.

There is also the question of whether the Law has been lying to Horse about his immortality, and perhaps about his real purpose, even after he has supposedly been inducted as a full agent. Are the Law's motives really as pure as Fang and the like want Horse to believe?

BE WARNED! THE FOLLOWING IS A PIRATED OUT-TAKE FROM TMIL!

Fang pops up right before Horse dies and say, "Gotcha! you've been punked!"

Oh, and that other guy's there too, to laugh at Horse. The one from That 70's Show.

what hasn't he failed at?

and how do you know it wasn't planned?

I mean...seriously. They actually thought a few days instruction would prepare him to face the damn Lich king??

Oh my gawd, you killed Horse! You @#$%^!%!

Sorry, couldn't resist. And talk about a cliffhanger ... you're starting to get cruel, you know. And I caught the part where Varimathras says "I don't know." Oh and thedjvan, Albatros is portraying Horse as a tragic hero, so failures are par for the course. Undead Horse here we come.

Yes, he's only mostly dead...
Either Horse comes back to life somehow, or we get a new character. It's already been said that this is NOT the end of the story-in Albatros's posting on the front page, it says that this isn't even the end of this book, let alone the story. There's going to be one more chapter in this book. Whether or not there's going to be any more books after this remains unknown, but I don't think it's going to end just yet.
