Wonder how his mother had the foresight to name him "Horse" before that though. Wink

my answer to that question unfortunately gives away the biggest plot point in the whole story, so I can't answer. Wink Luckily, me telling you that fact doesn't give away anything, because the plot point I'm not giving away actually has nothing at all to do with your question! Figure that out and get back to me. I would've thought the answer would be something like, "she didn't, it was coincidance," but I guess not. You'll have to tell us this big plot point eventually though!

Maybe it wasn't his mother who named him.

Wow, never thought of that. Well, when I say evil genius, now I really mean the genius.

What was puzzling me as why Horse this last part is why Horse only has to go one place to get his amulet. When Canjku did that quest he also had to go to the Sludge fen. I was also always puzzled by the quest statement that said you had to work fast or you would drown. There was a bubbing fischure right next to the chest with the amulet in it. Well at least there was when I did the quest, though bubling fischures never made a lot of sense in the first place.

Also that was interesting way to think about shape shifting Albatros. Appropriate but still interesting. You obviously had thought on the topic a great deal.

They put the bubbling fissure there so players wouldn't keep drowning and give up on being Druids. Hard to like something if you keep dying. This way, Albatros is being more realistic.

I thought that was probably the case. Not sure why people would have problems though. I could see the trunk from fairly close to the surface, grabbed a breath before I swawm down, opened the chest got the amulet and teleported to moonglade. I seem to recall thinking I really didn't need the bubbling fischure anyway.

Ex is right too. Horse's parents named him Horse (Tashunke, actually, of course), and it was just a name. It is, essentially, a coincidence. It led to him having and being good at a horse form (something of a rarity), and the fact that he has a horse form is of marginal importance (at least plot-wise) to the story. That's why I'm not giving anything away by saying what I said - the plot point doesn't actually have anything directly to do with Horse's name. Again: Twisted Evil Very Happy

Ex you're right, I'll have to tell you guys eventually - round about the middle of Book Three!

/train - nope, his mom is no agent.

I normally wouldn't post something like this, but I assume this is simply a typo?

[[[gah! originally it was "You know her as" and I missed a word when I changed it! thanks - ed.]]]

Why didn't you just say that to begin with? Confused You just like to tease us with your plot points, don't you? Evil or Very Mad

I thought so, but I didn't want to post it. I eventually did, but it took some time to decide.
