Yea, but the heros never died either, they kept coming back, eating some food and killing them again Razz.

After a while the heroes move on. Sooner or later there are going to be times when noone is attacking the venture company's lands.

Kinda bitter about some of the lore...aren't we?

The bit about the tower landing bringing blue people made me chuckle.

Welcome thedjvan. And I'm sure we all laughed at that part. Smile

Well, except for Aid and Onokos. But you can pretty much ignore them as they fight for control of the world.

Two things. One, I've never claimed to be in league with Aid and he's the one who's trying to take over the world. Of course, if this is sarcasm (hard to tell on the Internet sadly) then I'm laughing anyway. Two, why are you bringing up this in a thread dedicated to Chapter 10?

Hopefully, this training means Horse will finally master his druid skills. Can't wait to see how he'll end up.

Hey yea, and maybe he'll be able to retract his horns too! I THINK NOT! There's gotta be lots of hard training before he masters it, he'll just get better Razz.

Well, that's probably what the next chapter is devoted to. The Law sure has a funny way of doing things, delaying his training from his youth until now.

There must have been some reason for delaying his training that has not occurred to us mortals.

In case you haven't noticed, Albatros is mortal too. Or at least the human sitting behind the computer using Albatros as his pen name. Anyway, we'd need confirmation from him about this ... but you do bring up a good point.

There're good reasons that his training didn't progress when he was a kid, and it wasn't very much to do with the Law (at least not directly). They're good, old-fashioned reasons of character and psychology: Horse was a kid, with family issues. He just couldn't handle it, and he ran away. Now, after having been through a hell of a lot, he can finally handle it, and he will - with aplomb - soon.

edit - linked to the definition of aplomb Wink
