The emotion should be more relaxed and not angry Very Happy. Rhy is not like that ^^. She came over as carefree in the story and totally in tune with her undeadness, which can't be said for all undead.

The hair should definitely be wispier, but don't make it too long. Other than that, if you're only going to draw the face, then I'll only comment much on the face ^^. When you're ready to do a full body drawing, then we'll see how that goes Very Happy.

The head you've posted looks like it would fit perfectly on a Rhy-throwing-fire-at-the-scourge body, but then you really would be making the hair windswept instead of wispy.

More of a "I will fight and die for my home if I must, so you're asking for some fire to the face" face, but yeah. She came across to me as a pretty care-free gal, but she was also proud of and loyal to her leaders. Imagine a scene where the President of the US just escaped a squad of assassins through a tunnel, and a Secret Service version of Rhy volunteered to make a last (not usually in hollywood) stand at a key choke point to buy Mr. President time.

Second sketch looks awesome. Definitely > first.

Also - I'm quite fond of your style. Looks very clean. Mine usually has scribbles and extra lines etc etc everywhere.

Awesome pictures! That's a good look at what Rhy might look like, only she's a little bit hunched. You capture her almost-human-but-really-skinny look spot on (obviously her arms and legs will be a bit less human-looking), and I really like her facial expressions! The sort of normal shirt you have sketched on her in the first picture isn't something she wears in the story - she's either in full brown robes and hood (like the top photograph but without fur) or in rags - and the sort of ambiguously clothed nature of the second picture fits the latter outfit quite well. Neither outfit particularly emphasizes anything that would be saggy or not, so that's a debate we can mostly avoid. Wink I'm looking forward to what you come up with for carefree undead - Rhy is never quite carefree, but she does get quite happy from time to time - whenever Horse shows up or tells her she's badass.

oh and did you see how much younger she looks without the bags?
would you like baggy eyes or smooth skin for the next one?

EDIT: ZOMG AL POSTED xD

ty much, I was waiting for you to say something I needed to hear from you, I mean she IS your character, and u know what she looks like best, nothing to Am (who has helped immensely) but he could have the wrong picture in his head, we all have unique imaginations.

Indeed, I could have! Of course we needed to hear from Alb Very Happy. In the meanwhile I was just revving your imagination Wink.

Be that as it may, your drawings turned out pretty damn good. I have to agree with the rest and say the bottom one is better, but there's something in the first one I like as well.
