No, we would be confused and wondering whether it was correctly spelled or not Confused.

Besides, it's not our forum. We're guests here. It's Albatros's...

Just to make it clear: creativity is highly encouraged, but all kinds of creativity need a framework that will clarify its purpose and direction.

You can't really talk about goblins unless your reader knows in what kind of world your story takes place (LoTR, WoW, Real-Life, et al.), that kind of thing.

In your own story, it's your right to use any words you want to. Amaunator, you need to remember that, and please look over your critiques before you post them with an eye towards being more constructive - they've been coming off harsher recently, and more likely to reap anger. Cut back on that. Everyone else take a minute and have a glass of nice cool water: There's half an interesting conversation going on here under the layers of unnecessary animosity, and I'd like to see it keep going. Samej, welcome to the Writers' Nest and congrats on the positive reactions this story has gotten. Wink

Your students will dread every single minute and throw themselves out of the window first chance they get.

I think editor or Professional Torturer are more in you line of work.

Funny, I think that's the only reason I'd ever want to be a teacher.

Having been a teacher for the past ten years, I do try to be fair and partial to all of my students, but I have to admit something. If I have a kid who constantly acts like an idiot in class, well, that's one kid who won't get any favors done for him when he comes to crying and boo hoooo time because of failing. I admit taking some secret pleasure in "justice!" hahahahahahahahahahaha

And every October at the annual haunted house, I try my absolute best to make them kids pee in their pants from fright. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I teach at a public school in Hong Kong, grades 1-6. Kids are 5-12 years old.

Aww, that's no challenge. They pee their pants even without you scaring them.
