Alright, you put 2 birds in that scene. We know that one of them is a raven and the other is Katy M. The raven can be nobody that we've met so far in the regular story because nobody, as far as we know, can turn into a raven. As far as we know the only person who can turn into a raven is Medhiv.

And to think you tried to minimize the part of the 2nd raven, hide it behind a little curtain so it was barely noticable.

Just a thought, katy-m can turn into one because she's a druid. Was horse's old mentor a shaman or a druid? (i thought druid)

Ooooh...that's an interesting one. I'm putting my money on Medivh, given that he's already appeared in Book 2 (more or less) and Horse made veiled references to him at the beginning of Chapter XXII.

On the other hand, are there any other CMs that we know of who might be able to Ravenize themselves? Or could Fang mind-control a Raven?

A Golden Eagle, right? At least, that's what I pictured it as.

Yeah, golden eagle. Way better than a heron, but not as cool as a raven IMO.

During a dream Horse had in a flashback right before he was about to run away, I think. It didn't say that it was Medivh, but he had the staff, the feathers on his cape, and it pretty much was writen like the cutscene from WC3.
