If more proof was ever needed that CGI can do anything...and make it look utterly realistic, I give you:

Even better, here's the full-screen HD:

My only complaint of this would be that it looks TOO real. It's so real that it's indistinguishable (to my eye) from reality, so instead of seeing it as a mindblowing feast of perfection, it starts to look like boring old everyday photography. The second half kinda picks up the pace and starts to show off more.

Oh, and happy new year, everyone!

And thus we are one step closer to constructing the Matrix.

Stop the speeches, just give me the blue pill Razz.

But that is a freaking awesome piece of artificial cinematography, really. And it's a very good short movie too.

Has my last log in and random statement really been from before new years? Dang!

As for the video, my connection is to sluggish to really run anything on you tube, but I will say the stills are most impressive.

Now I really must send myself to bed since I have to work at 5 am and will be up at 3:30

Thanks for the video Farsider! I'm not sure how I missed it the first time around.

It's so realistic that I found myself nitpicking the lack of realism in the photographer. Imagine my chagrin when I discovered that the photographer was live-action. He was one of the only real things in there!

I liked how prominent the Milwaukee Arts Museum was in the film. If anyone is ever in my fine state, I strongly suggest a visit.
