Chapter VI - The Voice of the Law
Monday, May 28, 2007 - 9:00 PM
I'm afraid my weeks of doing double-long chapters has caught up with me, and all I have to offer this week is half a chapter: VI - The Voice of the Law. I've got a new scene going in right after where I break, and it gave me more trouble than I expected. Another week should give me enough time to pull it together, and then we'll see how much work I have to do on the interrogation scene. Horse is finding things out a little differently this time, Fang doesn't just have all the answers waiting for him...
Chapter V - Hasty Reunions
Sunday, May 20, 2007 - 9:45 PM
This week's chapter is another double-header. It's kinda cool to not be afraid of super-long chapters any more: frees me up to make chapter breaks more where the story thinks they should be. So here's Chapter V - Hasty Reunions.
Some of you may be curious to know that Anduin of the Silver Hand has a last name now (thanks again Tony), one which fits his ancestry nicely into the lore of the Scourge wars.
The rewrite is finally coming to a close: there are a mere three chapters left until I'm back to where I left off back in December. If you haven't been reading the rewrite, now's a good time to start catching up. If you weren't planning on it, I definitely recommend it - there's a whole bunch of new stuff that'll be important later on. Plus, I'm a better writer by a couple years (and 300+ pages), and the story is just plain better now.
Hell, it's about time

Any of you that are Blizzard fanbois will know what this post is about before you even read it, and if you do, I offer no further knowledge or analysis. I'm merely here to echo an absolutely awesome announcement: Starcraft II is on its way. Awwww yeah.
Forum-hound Amaunator has a decent analysis up in the forum, if you want to know a bit more.
Chapter IV - The Great Sea
Sunday, May 13, 2007 - 4:00 PM
Because I split the last chapter in two (The Crown of the Earth & Horns), I thought it was only fair to merge the next two chapters into one. So here is this week's offering, a double-long, continent-spanning, pulse-pounding, important-hint-having chapter: The Great Sea.
